The scenery of the Saigawa River and river terraces, time flows slowly
The majestic and abundant Saigawa River is also called the Otoko River, and has a more manly image compared to the less-watered Onagawa River of the Asano River. The river is wide and open, and you can enjoy jogging or cycling on the well-maintained riverside promenade, or simply gazing at the river surface. The cliffs and green spaces created by the Sai River river terraces are also beautiful. It is a 4-minute walk from our hotel.

Find your favorite temple among the temples in Teramachi.
There is an area called "Teramachi" where about 70 temples and shrines are lined up on the terrace of the Saigawa River. The area retains a unique, historical atmosphere, and Myoryuji Temple, famous as the Ninja Temple, has recently become popular with many foreign tourists. Find your favorite temple or shrine that suits your tastes. It is a 5-minute walk from our hotel.

A tour of Kanazawa's architecture
The Taniguchi Yoshiro and Yoshio Memorial Kanazawa Architecture Museum was designed and built by Yoshio (1904-1979), who was born in Kanazawa, and his son Yoshio (1937-), in the house where Yoshiro was born, to convey the achievements of both Yoshiro and his son. Yoshiro designed some of the most representative buildings of the Showa era, including the Chidorigafuchi National Cemetery, the main lobby of the Hotel Okura Tokyo main building, the Imperial Theatre, and the Tokyo National Museum. Yoshio is active both in Japan and abroad, designing Kasai Rinkai Aquarium, the new building of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, GINZA SIX, and the lobby of the new Hotel Okura main building. In Kanazawa, he designed the Suzuki Daisetsu Museum and the Kanazawa Tamagawa Library, among others. It is a 5-minute walk from the hotel.
